personal reading knowledge assessment

Extraordinary Readers' Advisory librarians know what they know.
Before you begin the major portion of the Genres & Authors self-paced program (Lessons 5 - 7), it's helpful to get a general idea of your strengths and weaknesses related to Readers' Advisory (RA) in popular adult fiction. YOU are probably the best source for this knowledge, but there are a few other ways to get a more complete assessment of your personal RA needs.

Learning goals:
Lesson 1 - Determine personal knowledge of a variety of recent bestselling authors and titles.
Lesson 2 - Analyze personal favorite genres and titles.
Lesson 3 - Clarify personal reading tastes.
Lesson 4 - Aggregate information from earlier lessons and make conclusions about personal reading pleasures (and peeves).
